National Day — the design brief

Not a flag.

The brief was clear: a piece to be worn every day of the year, not just one. So the palette references the flag but doesn't reproduce it — a deep evergreen thread on off-white leather, and one small mark on the underside.

The date isn't the point.

Anyone can print a date. What matters is that the strap still feels right on day 366.
