Dress dials — silver, white, or a deep blue — with a polished case. Also anything you'll wear with a suit. Black hides its own age, so it lasts.

When black doesn't.

Warm-toned dials (cream, salmon, gold). A black strap makes them look dropped-in and reads too formal.
